The Inland Terminal Group (ITG) was founded in 1999 as the marketing and logistical arms of South West Terminal and North East Terminal. Originally based in Winnipeg, ITG expanded and opened up an office on the West Coast in 2005. In 2008, Lethbridge Inland Terminal joined the ITG fold. In addition to the marketing and logistics functions, ITG acts as the CWB, regulatory agency and government liaison for the three terminals. ITG personnel have testified before Parliamentary Committees, the Canadian Transportation Agency and Government inquiries. ITG personnel provide market analysis and risk management services to South West Terminal, North East Terminal and Lethbridge Inland Terminal. ITG also provides the business development support and analysis for all 3 terminals.
Trent Weber is the Director of Transportation and Merchandising for ITG. Trent previously worked for both the Canadian Wheat Board and the Canadian Pacific Railway. Trent is based in Winnipeg.
